Her sculptures-vessels, cracked and textured, speak of transformation: raw earth molded by hand, scorched by fire, and imbued with memory. Rooted in Japanese ceramic traditions, Futamura approaches clay not as a passive material but as a living medium, where knowledge is transmitted through touch, presence, and time rather than language.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this program, the public is invited to create their own ceramic offering bowls, inscribe a heart sutra inside, and choose either to take it home or offer it to someone else as a gesture of generosity and sharing, inspired by Sufi heart-to-heart transmission.
