    Join this inspirational multimedia painting workshop with artist Troy Makaza.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Starting from the framework of physical landscapes the artist guides participants use this basis to craft pictorial narratives that extend beyond the material horizon.
    \nThis workshop takes its inspiration from the artist\u2019s own creative process in producing his large-scale silicone paintings.<\/p>\n

    Material Transformations<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Participants will explore the artist\u2019s inspirations and influences, as well his creative process in the making of Mutiwaora (The tree is rotten), a monumental silicone painting-sculpture created specifically for the exhibition Un Ciel int\u00e9rieur.
    \nFeatured in the Zimbabwe Pavilion at the 2024 Venice Biennale, Troy Makaza\u2019s work actively engages with the cultural history of Zimbabwe and his Shona heritage, weaving together materiality and storytelling in a unique artistic language.
    \nDon’t miss this opportunity to create an artwork using profound inspirations behind his work.<\/p>\n

    We are also pleased to share that his works are currently on view in a solo exhibition at Poggi Gallery in Paris until April 12, 2025.<\/p>\n
