\"\"<\/td>\nRand Abdul Jabbar<\/b> is an Iraqi-Canadian artist whose work explores the traces of history, individual and collective memory, and the legacies of imperialism, archaeology, and material culture. Through sculpture, writing, video, and installation, she reinterprets the past to question identity, transmission, and the reappropriation of historical narratives. In the exhibition <\/span>The Desire of the Heart<\/span><\/i>, she presents new works from her series <\/span>Earthly Wonders, Celestial Beings<\/span><\/i>, as well as new ceramic sculptures created for the museum garden, exploring the garden as a cosmos, image, and site of desire.<\/span><\/p>\n
