Particularly influenced by the history and culture of Zimbabwe, the artist draws inspiration from both his socio-political background and personal experience. His distinctive, colorful silicone works, which are at the same time painting and sculpture, bridge tradition and contemporary practice. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Created for the exhibition <\/span><b><i>Un Ciel int\u00e9rieur<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><b><i>Mutiwaora<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (\u201cThe Tree is Rotten\u201d), the work revolves around the notion of transition and travel between the physical world and spirituality.
