The artist draws her inspiration from their shape and the materials used, such as coco de mer, to emphasize the connection between <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kashk\u016bls<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the body. The red color, a recurring feature in her work, is inspired here by the often-colorful cloaks worn by the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">darv\u012bsh<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Pakistan.
