Paula Valero Com\u00edn<\/strong>, born in Valencia in 1976, is a multidisciplinary Spanish artist. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia (2001) and the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (ENSBA, 2006), and holds a PhD exploring the intersection of performance and activism. Her work takes the form of itinerant projects carried out across various cities, where artistic practice and research converge. She works across multiple media : drawing, installation, and action-based practice, rooted in critical inquiry. Influenced by sociology, ethnography, and scenic and visual arts, her approach fosters cross-disciplinary dialogues. Her practice embraces both multidisciplinarity and nomadism, shaped by residencies and artistic encounters in different countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her recent exhibitions include<\/span> Sans R\u00e9serve<\/span><\/i> at the Mus\u00e9e de la Chasse et de la Nature (Paris, 2023), <\/span>Parle-moi du jardin de ta grand-m\u00e8re<\/span><\/i> at the Centre Tignous d\u2019Art Contemporain (Montreuil, 2024), <\/span>COALITION<\/span><\/i> at the Ga\u00eet\u00e9 Lyrique (Paris, 2024), and <\/span>Correspondances. Lire Angela Davis, Audre Lorde, Toni Morrison<\/span><\/i> at Cr\u00e9dac (Ivry-sur-Seine, 2024). Her project <\/span>Herbarium R\u00e9sistant \u2013 Rosa Luxemburg<\/span><\/i> was presented in Venice in the exhibition <\/span>When Solidarity Is Not a Metaphor<\/span><\/i>. This project is constantly evolving and will be exhibited in Meyrin, Switzerland, in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n
