High school students (specializing in art)
This workshop is aimed at high school students studying visual arts and offers an artistic and personal reflection on the concept of the path—understood as a creative, inner journey of self-discovery. Through portraiture, and more specifically self-portraiture, participants are invited to take an intimate look at themselves. The aim of this workshop is to raise students’ awareness of the importance of knowing themselves and developing a personal and relevant approach, essential skills in the context of art school entrance exams and admissions.
Atalias is a French visual artist whose practice explores portraiture as a space of revelation and presence, where notions of identity, memory, and otherness intersect through the gesture of the hand. With thirty years of experience in the field of creation, acquired in demanding artistic and cultural environments on an international scale, she develops works combining drawing, sculpture, and interactive digital devices. Her immersive and sound installations engage the viewer in a sensory experience of the visible and the invisible.
