Get up close to nature with a magnifying glass and a guide provided for you!

Bring the whole family to explore the MACS MTO garden on a fun, immersive self-guided tour. Equipped with magnifying glasses, visitors of all ages are invited to take a closer look at the plants, insects, and other unassuming inhabitants of the garden. Using the information sheets provided by the museum, learn to recognize these little wonders of nature, discover their secrets, and understand their role in the ecosystem. A sensory and educational experience designed to spark the curiosity of both children and adults, and offer a fresh perspective on the biodiversity that surrounds us.

The result of a harmonious fusion between nature and Sufi art, the MACS MTO garden is a lush, serene space. A true living work of art, the museum’s garden is considered a work in its own right within the collection. It offers an immersive, multisensory experience and presents the most unexpected combinations, bringing together species associated with Sufi culture and the environment of the Yvelines. Rich in many rare species, the garden invites visitors to (re)discover the allegorical, medicinal, and culinary properties of flowers and trees. Designated an LPO refuge since 2025, it provides nesting spaces for the most vulnerable birds, thanks to discreet and protected birdhouses.
