The art of calligraphy – workshop for children

This workshop, designed for children, will begin with exploring simple gestures to form the basic graphic elements: point, line, and curve. The next step is to learn how to link these elements together and choose the right place and color for each, culminating in a creation that is as personal as it is harmonious.

A dancer and choreographer by profession, AragoRn has developed a unique approach to movement inspired by paintings and drawings that explore curves, voids, and forms in dynamic relation to one another. As a natural extension of his work with dance and flowing movements, he also took up Arabic and Persian calligraphy, studying it in the traditional way for five years under the guidance of Iranian master Bahman Panahi and Tunisian calligrapher Hamda Yacoub.
