Dr. Ghazaleh Esmailpour Qouchani – Art Historian
Immerse yourself in a poetic guided tour at the heart of the exhibition Resonant: Bodies, Songs and Strings, at the crossroads of contemporary art and Sufi spirituality.
Led by Ghazaleh Esmailpour Qouchani, Art Historian and Scientific Advisor at the Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis MTO, this tour invites you to discover a symbolic journey inspired by the Persian poetic masterpiece Haft Paykar (The Seven Beauties) by Nizami Ganjavi.
Much like King Bahram, who visits seven domes of distinct colors in the tale, visitors are invited to follow a path where colors, sounds, objects, and contemporary artworks engage in dialogue to evoke the stages of an inner journey.
Through musical instruments, manuscripts, symbolic jewelry, and immersive installations, you will explore how Sufism approaches the quest for self, the transmission of knowledge, and the resonance between silence, vibration, and memory.
This tour is conducted in French.
