Music and Samāʿ

Music and samāʿ by MTO Zendeh Delan. A 1h program including a live quartet of tar, daf, oud and harp playing traditional Sufi music and accompanied with a presentation of the spiritual practice of samāʿ. The presentation is introduced with a short explanation of samāʿ motions and their significance.

The presentation of the samāʿ on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 12:45 PM will be conducted in French and English.

Please note that this event is designed as an immersive and contemplative experience.

In order to respect the atmosphere and the artists, we ask all participants to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. In case of delay, you may be asked to wait until the next break in the performance (for example, between two pieces of music) before entering the space.
