This guided meditation session takes place on the riverbank of the Seine, offering a moment of pause, movement and inner connection in harmony with the natural surroundings.

The session begins with a meditative walk, inviting you to slow down, awaken your senses and fully connect with the present moment through your breath and mindfulness. Gradually, the rhythm of the walk settles in, allowing for a deeper awareness of the body, the breath and the subtle connection between the inner and outer worlds.

The practice continues with a pause and gentle physical exercises, breathing techniques and guided moments of concentration, gradually leading to a state of balance, clarity and presence.

Throughout the session, nature becomes a true support for the experience: the movement of the water, the light and the surrounding sounds accompany a deeper sense of grounding and expanded awareness.

Suitable for all levels and adaptable to different ages, this session offers a space to refocus, cultivate mindfulness and experience harmony between movement, breathing and awareness.

Practical information:

The walk starts from the museum front desk and follows the towpath and the bank of the Seine. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility (due to a flight of steps to descend at the start of the route to reach the Seine)

About the Tamarkoz® method:

Based on Sufi tradition, the Tamarkoz® method – a Persian term meaning ‘concentration’ – offers a holistic approach to self-awareness, founded on mindfulness of the body, the breath and the heart.

Passed down for several centuries, this practice combines exercises accessible to all: gentle movements (Movazeneh®), breathing, relaxation and concentration. It invites you to focus your attention, calm the mind and cultivate a deeper state of presence.

At the Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis MTO, Tamarkoz is proposed as both a physical and an inner experience, reflecting the sensory and spiritual dimensions of Sufism.
