Artisans of MTO Shahmaghsoudi®
Discover āyeneh-kārī, the Iranian tradition of mirror work, in this immersive 90-minute hands-on workshop at the MACS MTO Museum. Guided by experienced artisans, participants will cut mirror glass, work with geometric forms, and contribute to a collective wall installation inspired by the work of Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian. No prior artistic experience is needed — the workshop is designed to be welcoming, slow, and fully supported. Both tactile and reflective, this collaborative session explores how light, geometry, and shared making come together in a living artwork.
