In this accessible workshop, participants explore health and well-being through an approach that combines modern science with ancient Sufi wisdom, offering a holistic perspective. The workshop begins with an introduction to the evolution of health and illness from ancient times to the present day, giving participants a better understanding of how these concepts have shaped contemporary thinking. Prof. Sadaghianloo then presents an overview of the body’s major systems, highlighting their interconnections and functions, without the need for prior scientific or medical knowledge. This unique blend of modern medicine and Sufi knowledge creates the ideal environment for an experience in which participants are encouraged to exchange their views on health. Designed to be both informative and transformative, this workshop offers participants not only knowledge, but also concrete ways of becoming conscious actors in their own health and well-being.

Prof. Sadaghianloo is Professor of Vascular Surgery at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice. She holds a PhD in Life and Health Sciences, specializing in molecular and cellular interactions. She also holds an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from the Doctoral School of the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, with a particular focus on blood vessel metabolism and oxygenation. Placing human relationships and prevention at the heart of her medical approach, Prof. Sadaghianloo also holds a diploma in Meditation, Therapeutic Relations and Care from the Université Côte d’Azur. She explores the links between the mind and cardiovascular health, integrating these dimensions into her patient care.
