Access and opening hours

  1. How do I get to the museum?
    The Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis MTO™ is located in Chatou, in the Yvelines department. You can get there by car or public transport. The museum is a 5-minute walk from Chatou-Croissy station, via the RER A. More details on how to get there are available on this page.
  1. What are the opening hours?
    The museum is open from 11am to 6pm, Wednesday to Friday, and from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with Tuesdays reserved for school groups. Opening times may vary for special events, so please check our website for updates.
  1. Is it possible to park near the museum?
    Yes, there are several parking lots close to the museum, including a free parking lot on the Île des Impressionnistes, a 5-minute walk away.
  1. Is the museum accessible to people with reduced mobility?
    Yes, the entire museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with elevators and ramps.
  1. Is the museum air-conditioned?
    Yes, all museum rooms are air-conditioned.

Reservations and rates

  1. How much does the museum charge?
    Admission to the museum is €9 for adults and free for children under 6. Discounts are also available for certain publics.
  1. Can I buy tickets on site, or do I need to book in advance?
    Tickets can be purchased on site, but online booking is strongly recommended for all types of visit, whether paid or free. The museum accepts credit cards and cash (please bring change).
  1. Is the museum garden free?
    Yes, access to the museum garden is free and open to all.

  1. Is it possible to take photos of the works in the museum?
    Flash-free photography is permitted in most areas of the museum. However, certain temporary exhibitions may have restrictions. Please follow the posted instructions.
  1. Is it possible to visit the museum with a stroller?
    Yes, strollers are allowed in the museum. Elevators are available to facilitate movement.
  1. Are pets allowed?
    For reasons of safety and comfort, pets are not allowed in the museum, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs.

  1. Is the museum child-friendly?
    Yes, a free “Young Visitors” booklet is available at the entrance to the museum to help you follow the children’s itinerary. Workshops are regularly organized for children on contemporary art and Sufi culture. See our program for upcoming dates.
  1. Are audio guides available?
    The museum does not offer audio guides at the moment, but QR codes give access to complementary mediation to enrich the visit.
  1. Is there a museum store?
    Yes, the museum has a store selling souvenirs, books and objects related to Sufi art and current exhibitions.
