Membership

Each year’s member level and recognition are set by cumulative contributions received by December 31 of the previous year. Contributions received from January 1 determine your level and associated benefits for the following year.

If you are a resident of France, your contribution entitles you to an income tax reduction equal to 66% of the donation amount, up to 20% of taxable income, in support of our philanthropic mission.

Friend (Individual) — €500 / year
An introduction to our community of patrons.

Young Benefactor (Individual, age 35 and under) — €2,500 / year
Created to unite a new generation of philanthropists and cultural enthusiasts around Sufi heritage.

• Invitation to the annual MACS MTO Anniversary Weekend in Paris
• Invitations to Young Benefactor–only gatherings (private tours, receptions, networking opportunities)
• 10% discount at the MACS MTO gift shop
• Priority booking for events and programs

• Opportunities to join Young Benefactor delegations to cultural partner institutions
• Recognition on donor walls and on the Young Benefactors list on the website

Benefactor — €5,000 / year (Individual) | €10,000 / year (Dual Donorship — two named individuals)

Major Donor — €50,000 / year (Dual Donorship — two named individuals)
Reserved for those whose generosity anchors MACS MTO’s development.

• Advance invitations to exclusive MACS MTO events (with limited guest access)
• First-priority booking for all MACS MTO programs and exhibitions
• Prominent recognition on donor walls, website, and association with special projects of the year
• Dedicated liaison and priority consideration of special requests
• Complimentary copies of all MACS MTO publications

Counting toward your level

Donor level is calculated on the amount actually received by the organization (net of refunds or chargebacks). Multi-installment gifts count as they are received. Employer matching gifts count once received and verified, and will be credited to the donor’s record for that calendar year. Pledges are recognized upon receipt, not at pledge signature.

Activation

Benefits begin on January 1 according to cumulative contributions received by December 31 of the previous year. Priority access and invitations are capacity-dependent and not guaranteed.

Eligibility (Young Benefactor)

Eligible through December 31 of the year you turn 36.

Recognition cadence

Website donor lists and physical donor walls are refreshed at least annually.

Transfer & resale

Donor benefits, codes, and invitations are personal and non-transferable (except for named Dual Donorships). Resale or public posting of invitation links or codes is prohibited and may result in the revocation of benefits. ID may be requested at entry.

Guest access

Guest allowances are limited and subject to capacity and security protocols.

Event changes

Programs, dates, and benefits are subject to change; we reserve the right to modify or substitute benefits.

Refunds

Charitable contributions are generally non-refundable except in case of a processing error.
