MACS MTO showcases a unique collection of everyday objects that illustrate the richness of Sufi culture throughout time. These objects offer a glimpse into Sufi daily life and spiritual practices. Not only are the everyday objects in the collection historical artifacts, but they also spark creativity for new work. Contemporary artists are invited by MACS MTO to draw inspiration from the objects’ symbols, shapes, and stories. By interpreting these traditional items, they create works that interweave different symbols and meanings, thus enriching the dialogue between Sufi culture and contemporary art. On a visit to MACS MTO, visitors can discover how these beautiful everyday objects influence today’s artists.
